It's a damn shame that I haven't posted anything in exactly five months, and even more so that the site has been up for over a year now, and there's only four blog entries, mostly detailing things that never get off the ground, but I'd love for that to change over time. Unfortuantely, the RPG Project that Mark had been working on for a while now had officially been cancelled for a while now, and there has been no word from him in the last little while in regards to doing another collaboration.
It's bad news, but if it takes my mind off of a side project, it might help reenvigorate me to just focus on doing music for my own benefit. Not to say I wasn't happy doing the project, but I loved the tracks I had made for his game, and this now gives me the opportunity to flesh those songs out more for my own usage, and by that I mean make them much more than just a loopable tune that goes on for up to a minute and a half, like most old games.
So though I'm sure you've tired of hearing this said over and over again, give me some time, because the ideas are running nonstop, everyday, and I hope to make the most of them ASAP.

It's the first update I've made in a long, long time, but only because I've actually finished a song I've started for once. The RPG Project is still well underway, it's just a matter of making sure that my songwriting is on par with Mark working on the project in its entirety himself. I wouldn't want to get too far ahead, or too far behind, but he's still made progress since the last time this place has seen an update, even if his own website doesn't have any new content.
The lo-fi acoustic hopes I'd mentioned in the November update have not come to fruition, since I don't have a tape recorder, and my guitar is currently at someone else's house. So I wouldn't look forward to an album of that, and in fact, I probably wouldn't look forward to an album period, in the near future.
Other than that, I'm doing the odd one or two songs for the RPG Project, and the new song I made, the sole reason for updating this for the first time in nearly a half year to begin with, is titled "The Entertainment System". I'm not going to bother going into why it was made, because I'd rather not get my ass kicked. Just know that, for my first chiptune ever (and probably last, as they are not my forte), it's actually kind of awesome, and has gotten some pretty positive responses.
EDIT: Scratch that, I'm actually going to go ahead and upload another song made in 2008, and, in fact, reupload every song on here with the appropriate tagging done to it.

On the last day of my Thanksgiving week break from work, I've updated a little bit in regards to a project: I am going to be a composer for Mark Reichwein's RPG Project. I have a few songs already made up for the game, which he's been enjoying so far. As far as anything else goes, I haven't made any album music yet, but I am currently trying to craft a talent for playing guitar, since I have some ideas for acoustic (as well as vocal) songs. I'd love a really lo-fi feel to it, but I probably won't be so lucky. It may take me a few more months before I make anything or accomplishing anything worth detailing on the site, so don't hold your breath, but always stick around. The website gets lonely without visitors.

It's Labor Day today, so I'm taking my much needed time off of work to laze about, and finally create a website detailing my go as a musician. An electronic musician, to be exact. I'll be adding little bits to the website over the next few hours, including a couple songs.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy.
