Friends Who Just Happen To Be Musicians

Mark Reichwein - has been a friend of mine online since we and many others met for a week in 2005. Besides interests in cooking eggs with solar-powered grills and making an RPG, he's also a good guitarist and pianist. His MySpace doesn't do justice to his full listing of songs, so go to his his YouTube channel, or even his original website as well to snap up a song called The Perfect Daydream. Great stuff.

I've known - Bill Eager - for a long time online, and even before I really got to know him, I knew his songs first. Early songs that he might even be ashamed of having ever made. Hit up his website for his latest downloadable album "New Life On Mars", or visit his MySpace or his YouTube channel for more music. See if you can't get him to electronically release his first two albums, The Ardent Note and The Keen Measure.

Musicians Who Just Happen To Be Inspirations

Gary Numan - If you haven't already found that out for yourself, it turns out this guy's my biggest inspiration of all of them. Do yourself a favor, and look into this man's catalogue of music, and I'm sure you'll find that "Cars" is nowhere near the best song he's ever made.

Moby - is another inspiration, as I've really enjoyed his music from the Play/18/Hotel era.

LCD Soundsystem - is not an inspiration, per se, but is another artist I ended up enjoying immensely. As awkward as the songs might be, they're songs you definitely can't help but move around to, and even I, a man with a zealous vow to hate dancing with a passion, can appreciate that.

Friends Who Just Happen To Not Be Musicians

Sean Nestor - is the guy whose website I took the MIDI to Foo Fighter's cover of Gary Numan's "Down in the Park" from back in 2000. I put him here because he's singlehandedly responsible for sparking my interest in Gary Numan, and the rest there was history. He's a tremendous overacheiver, so go take a look at the kinds of things he's into today.
